My Story
If you asked me what drew me to journalism, the answer has always been simple: people and their stories.
I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, raised by Cuban parents whose journey was marked by resilience and hope. I grew up listening to their tales of perseverance and dreams of new beginnings. From a young age, words mattered deeply to me — they connected generations, preserved memories, and gave voice to those who needed to be heard.
My path in journalism was not paved overnight. It started humbly, behind the scenes, learning the mechanics of storytelling one script at a time. Each step — from writing to producing to standing in front of the camera — shaped not only my career but also my heart. As a reporter and anchor, I have carried countless stories, each one a thread in the fabric of our communities.
But after decades of breaking news, morning shows, and interviews with world leaders and everyday heroes alike, something inside me evolved. I began to crave stories that unfold more slowly — stories that linger and breathe. Stories that aren’t rushed between commercial breaks. Stories that can change minds and open hearts.
That is why I stepped into documentary filmmaking and visual storytelling. I believe deeply in the power of video to not just inform, but to move. Whether it’s capturing the journey of an immigrant family, the legacy of a community leader, or the vision of a local attorney helping families in need — documentaries allow stories to live longer, and to reach people where it matters most.
Today, through this new chapter, my mission remains the same: to give stories the care they deserve and to help others use the power of narrative to connect and grow.
I’m passionate about working with professionals — attorneys, public service leaders, and entrepreneurs — to create films that do more than explain. I want them to inspire, elevate, and convert. Whether displayed in a lobby, shared online, or presented to future clients, these videos should be as thoughtful and impactful as the work they represent.
This new venture is more than a business — it’s personal. It’s built on years of listening, asking, and learning. And now, I am here, ready to help others tell their stories with the same care and passion I’ve always brought to mine.
